About Louiveste
Louiveste La Croix, a Haitian-born artist currently serving as an Artist in Residence (A.I.R.S) in Pompano Beach, South Florida, is passionately dedicated to exploring and expressing cultural narratives through his artwork. With a foundation in Fine Art from Broward College, he employs a unique blend of multimedia techniques, gestural figures, and abstract color schemes to create captivating pieces. Louiveste's artwork has been showcased at prestigious exhibitions internationally, including Escape2NY in Brooklyn, Moves Love Miami in Wynwood, and A Night for the Culture Juneteenth Art Show in Los Angeles. His latest work was featured in the Cosmic Ledger exhibition at 1310 Gallery in Fort Lauderdale. As a grantee at the Broward Cultural Arts Center, Louiveste continues to push boundaries and explore new artistic horizons. Through his art, he conveys messages of spiritual awareness, unity, and consciousness, while also paying tribute to historical roots to promote conscious evolution. He believes in the power of taking artistic risks and expressing oneself authentically to achieve true artistry.
